Course Description:
Moderated by Richard Weekes, a local Chess Specialist and London Chess Coach who runs junior chess clubs in Lewisham, Harlesden, Herne Hill, Norbury, Plumstead, Eltham, and Crofton Park.
This Chess Tournament is for young people at all levels and will include knock-out rounds!
Richard uses chess to enhance young people’s focus, sportsmanship, reading, memory, language, and mathematical ability and improve concentration, problem-solving, decision making, patience and improve memory.
